Update DNS Records for Your Domain


Secure Migration Information Required

Find My Domain Provider

If you’re not sure where your domain is managed, use this tool to look it up.

Lookup Your Domain

Enter your domain name to identify your registrar or DNS provider.

This guide will help you log in to your DNS provider and update your DNS records (A, MX, TXT, etc.).

You are NOT changing nameservers. You are only updating DNS records using the values provided in your secure migration link.


General Steps (Applies to Most Providers)

  1. Log in to your domain registrar or DNS provider.
  2. Locate your domain.
  3. Find DNS Settings, DNS Management, or Zone Editor.
  4. Update the required records using your secure migration link:
    • A Records (website)
    • MX Records (email)
    • TXT Records (SPF / DKIM)
  5. Save your changes.

Provider-Specific Instructions

Wixâ–¶

Important: Wix requires use of their nameservers.

  1. Log in to Wix.
  2. Go to Domains.
  3. Select your domain.
  4. Go to Advanced → DNS Records.
  5. Update:
    • MX records (email)
    • TXT records (SPF/DKIM)

You cannot change nameservers if using Wix hosting.

Squarespaceâ–¶
  1. Log in to Squarespace.
  2. Go to Settings → Domains.
  3. Select your domain.
  4. Open DNS Settings.
  5. Update MX and TXT records.
Weeblyâ–¶
  1. Log in to Weebly.
  2. Go to Domains.
  3. Select your domain.
  4. Open DNS settings.
  5. Update records from your migration link.
Cloudflareâ–¶
  1. Log in to Cloudflare.
  2. Select your domain.
  3. Click DNS.
  4. Edit or add:
    • A records
    • MX records
    • TXT records

Important: Set email-related records to DNS Only (grey cloud).

Amazon Route 53â–¶
  1. Log in to AWS.
  2. Open Route 53 → Hosted Zones.
  3. Select your domain.
  4. Edit or create records.
Webnames.caâ–¶
  1. Log in to Webnames.
  2. Go to your domain.
  3. Open DNS Management.
  4. Update required records.
